having attempted to install my x3 myself (with a lil bit of soldering experience) i managed to lift my d0 point, and never get the damn thing to work. since then i've sold my old xbox, and bought a refurbished one. i thought that my x3 was doa because all of my solders LOOKED FINE; however, i contacted a local modder and he installed the x3 for me and it works with no issues!

the point of this post is: dont doubt the x3 for a manufacturing defect or anything of that nature, because more likely than not it is your soldering job that is the problem and not the hardware (unless of course you toasted your hardware like i did ;)).

yeah but everyone who fits the x3 is a super expert solderer and they did EVERYTHING correctly

so of course the chip is faulty as saying it was their install would be admitting that they have a very small d**k

i got a good idea..

DONT ATTEMPT AN INSTALL IF YOUR NOT THE DOGS NAGS AT SOLIDERING, AND KNOW YOUR PCB'S FROM YOUR ELBOWS.

if in doubt dont do it!!!!!!!.. that way everyone happy, including you.

If you had actually read through, you would have realized that the thread was personalized. Please remain professional (like you claim you are) and voice any complaints to me in person rather than flaming my thread.

Thank you.

Re: Drive Flashing - TX

Look I don't care if it was personalized. Overall, its still my thread your ripped it off of. You can read through it and my thread and you can see the layout and general wording is mine. That's UNPROFESSIONAL. I don't have to claim I am professional, my feedback speaks for itself.
