Is this correct? Will it boot properly once I flash to the first 1 MB? As i thought the first 1mb should already have some kind of bios on it anyway
Just installed x3 on 1.6 and it boots from the backup bios only

You just answered your own question in the topic bro, when you say backup bios do you mean with the purple light on ? Or is it simply just loading flashbios ? If it's just flashbios, now it's your turn to dl a bios and use flashbios to flash the banks.. this is ALL over this site and people will flame you for asking a question without at least looking over the forums a "little" because I myself have seen this answered about 1,000,000 times not to mention theres a tutorial at http://home.comcast.net/~x3guide that you could have found that answered and then some, if you would have read the front page.. but all that aside, dont ask questions that have been answered 
Purple light on, so is it cool to flash it from here? switches set as on on off off off?
