Just Installed Xecuter 2.6CE and getting red/green lights

Hi Everyone, First post on here so I'll keep it short.

I've just installed an xecuter 2.6CE on a 1.6v xbox, ive soldered all the joints and made sure everything is contacting however with the chip enabled im getting red/green flashing on the xbox led.

Should I be getting this or does it mean theres no bios to boot up from on the xecuter yet?

Any one help while ive got it all in bits.

ok ignore all that managed to get it all working, got the "flashbios 3.0.3 Screen" up

Moving to the bios stage now.

I'm totally lost with this bios thing, I've been doing a little reading and downloaded and got working mIRC and FlashFXP etc

I dont know which bios does what.

I want to install XBMC on my hard drive and run games from the harddrive etc, plus install a larger hard drive but that comes later.

Can anyone help please, I'm starting to stress

version 1.6, first boot got the flashing red-green... my alt 5v wire wasn't soldered properly... once I resoldered everything was fine...

which bios to use? bios 5035, use http method.. don't make it a 1mb file, keep it at 512.. it will install to bank 1 and you will still have flashbios 3.0.3 on bank 2.

ok getting quite p*ssed off now, ive become banned on the xbins FTP and now I cannot get any files and dont know how to become "unbanned"

Does the 5035 Bios allow you to play back up games as well as install XBMC?

There is too many bios files and its all very confusing.

Why can't all the bios information come on a cdr or something with the chip?

I agree im really stuck to i tried burning the cd like 6 times, i used the settings from here :http://www.team-xecuter.com/flashbios/http.htm. If u can help me flash my chip witch is a 2.6 CE ill be very grateful!! Thanks guys

ok ive managed to do this and get the bios loaded onto the xecuter.

Try burning your bios on a cdrw

i flashed it right now but i think they're old bios i used the networking its so easy

Bearing in mind that ive got a 1.6v xbox, is bios version X2 5035 and the file is 1mb is size
