LITEON 74850 Just need some clarification

Hi guys, well could some one just give me some clarification on the following!

Ok i know how to write fw and everything so no problem there.

Now i bought an extra liteon phat drive (DG-16D25, 74850) that i want to use with 0800 fw. Ok so my question should i get the ofw first from the drive before i flash it with 0800 or do i not need to do that?!

Also should my original drive die on me and i then want to use this new drive in my xbox, i should then use the ofw from the drive that came with my xbox originaly, correct?

you don't need the ofw to use it as a 0800 drive
yes if your org drive in the box dieds you need the ofw from that one to get the key to the spare drive
