I purchased a already capable cfw nintendo switch, it came with a 256GB mem card ..the SX OS payload injector thing and the Jig.

It is running sx os 2.8 and my official nand is on 8.1.0 and my emunand is on 8.0.1

Ihave no clue what to update as there is renix folder and atmosphere folder on the sd card root..

the way i get to my Emunand is by using theSX OS injector thing and the jig then i select launch CFW from the the SX OS menu ... so thats how i get into my
CFW

could anyone help me as i dont know what software i should use to update my emunand to 8.1.0.... A google shows something called ChoiDujourNX but i havnt a clue.

Any help is appreciated.

If you want to use sxos only, you can go ahead and get rid of everything on the SD card related to Atmosphere and ReiNX. You can always go back to these cfw's later at any time.

There are only two ways to check if your console is banned. Boot into ofw, enable wifi for a second and either try to access the eshop, or update a game. If it let's you, then you are not banned. If you get an error message saying something along the lines of "Nintendo has restricted online access on this console", then you're banned. Not that it matter either way.

To update sysNAND or emuNAND offline, you are correct, you want to use ChoiDujourNX to do this. That homebrew will update your firmware completely offline, banned or not. So go ahead and use ChoiDujourNX to update to the latest 8.1.0 firmware.

Thanks a lot mmajunkie77, ill go ahead now n do that safely.... thanks to ur advice. I have already backed up my emunand as its supposed to be handy to keep even previous backups just in case needed so every time I update ill always create a nand backup.

Thanks alot for giving a detailed answer Appreciate it :D
