:) Hey Guys,

I seen a lot of posts where people are having problems and they messed up there xbox but I didn't see a thread where people actully took the time to thank xecuter team. Im sure there is a bunch, and If I saw them I would reply thanking as well. Anyways I just started the thread to thank you guys for working on the new bios for us. Everything is so much more simple to do, You really can not mess up the flash but you never know there is always that 1 person.. Anyways Im having a ball with this, so thanks and keep up the GREAT GREAT work :D

You can tell the team has to deal with a lot of unnecessary BS, just look at the readme file. :D I made sure to note my thanks in the success stories thread, but you're right. What these guys (and girls maybe?) do in their own time that they then share the benifits of with all of us *at no cost* does not get the praise it deserves. I recall some statistic from my old retail days (ahh... the old retail days. man they sucked! :)) that you'll get one compliment for every 10 complaints, even if you have 100 satisfied customers to every dissatisfied one. When Xecuter says there are hundreds/thousands (hundreds of thousands?) of people running the team's stuff with no probs I don't doubt it. You don't see that many people giving their thanks in the boards, but you do see plenty that are bitching, whining or just goofed things on their own. At least many of the people that have goofed things seem to have the decency to thank those that help them out.

Anyway, supurb work, it just continues to get better. This not only goes to the Xecuter team but to those that make things easier to work with in the form of 3rd party programs. My Xbox is a much happier place thanks to Team Xecuter and the community.

Continue to rox my box!

Mee too! Thought it would be a good way to support TeamX and at the same time get the bestest modchip there are ;)

Xecuter is and will be the best even in the next gen wars comming up. I bought an Xecuter chip for a reason. Before i bought the xecuter cite had tutorials and a lot of success stories so i read up and then i bought the chip. And now with the new bios that they didnt even have to release they rock

I would say the best part about xecuter chip is the support you get as well; I can't believe a team member would take his time and help us out with any questions. And it's not like he gets pissed of saying READ THIS READ THAT, he tells us the best method and tells us to look up info for the specific problem you’re having never flaming or ignoring threads.

Its true you do tell us to read this and read that, but its not like your yelling at us and not helping us. Most people in xbox-scene flame you for asking questions that they already know. They don't help you. You do help because you actully tell us what to look for and what totorials to read it from. Even if it's a stupid question...

Now you better agree... not disagree :p

Just A quick Question

First all thanks to everybody for doing what you have done which is creat a modchip that is so efficent yet. I am having a few minor problems my xbox hard drive is an 80 GB 7200 RPM 2 MB Cache but i t is very loud i was wondering if it was the hardrive or if this could be the way the bios setting are. when i am in XBMC i can see HDD spindown time is there anyway to set that manualing for the way the harddrive does that for all games. this seems to make the harddrive a little quieter but still when i go back to my main dashboard the HDD speeds up and gets louder i dont know what to do is this my HDD or is this some setting in the bios. i would greatly appreicate any light anybody can shed on this subjuect and once again thank you for all your Hard work.:)

Just go into X3 config live and turn down the volume on your HDD. I set mine to surround sound;)

Seriously... if your HDD is loud it's prolly about to die.

I just installed an X3ce and am really impressed. Very intelligent chip design and had all accessories required for multiple install options. The configurable ROM banks are genius once you get your head wrapped around the switches (I am kinda new at mod chipping, mostly do PC's). The upgradability factor is really sweet, also gives lots of options for messing around with Linux. Anyway, I've had this though bouncing around in my head for a while now:

I'm a racing fanatic, with GT4 being my latest obsession (and I know it's probably blasphemous bringing up a PS2 game on this forum, I appologize). I've just started playing Forza and am also really impressed with it, as it has some features that didn't make it to GT4. However, it has one major flaw, the Xbox does not currently have a wheel designed for it anywhere near as good as Logitech's Driving Force Pro. Now, there's drivers available for this wheel to get it working with a PC, and I believe in the developers section of the Logitech web site you can get the source code for those drivers. So am I just insane or would it in theory be possible to create an Xbox driver for the wheel and flash it onto the chip? If that would be possible I would be the happiest racing addict on the planet, and would kill five people of team Xecuter's choice as a sign of gratitude (kidding....mostly).

Anyway, just a thought, you guys do fantastic work, thanks.
