Hey guys, I've done hundreds of these, but this one has gone wrong. For some reason I didn't get the SPI unlocked, and ended up drilling too far. I now have a Xbox where I can't get the key, and the drive doesn't work. What are my options please?

Why did you not get the dvd key with slimkey before drilling? The only way to get the key now is to get it via RGH.

If its on low enough dashboard afaik RGH is the only way to get the key and then buy and unlocked PCB for the drive. If its not on low enough dashboard you will likely have to chuck it in the closet until hopefully the new dash is RGH'able.
