dont think so best thing to do is keep that safe and have a play with one of the 5 you are going to do then if you balls it up then you got a mxic to save ur ass??if you find the giude on here for winbond you cant go wrong ive done it with a craft knife nice and slow worked real good just make sure to mark up the chip first and you will be fine:D least this way mxic is easyer to do but if you play with that and feck it up then what will you do with the 5 you meant to do?

kamakazi works on any lite-on slim board, i do all my boards with kamakazi method easier and faster and when you need to unlock in future just use alcohol and swab doesn't get easier.

That is a serious waste of an MXIC PCB :eek2:

Peeps on here would have given you a WB PCB plus cash for that MXIC PCB :frown:

Why try it on a chip that doesn't require it

You can obviously do what you want with your PCB....just asking :rolleyes2:

What a waste! You have Winbond boards so why not practice on those? I hope you don't have 'customers' drives to do as maybe they're better off knowing you've not got the foggiest idea.
