hello everyone
first sorry for my poor English..
i have modded xbox 360 slim..i didn't face any problem with any game unless yesterday when i burned max payne 3 and insert it to my xbox it promoted update..
i'm afraid if i did that i'll be banned
so help me plz!!!

do the update as per normal.. we all use custom firmware with the risk of a ban on XBL

What dash are you on and what fw are you using? If your already on the latest dash( which you should have done before flashing) and are running lt+3.0 you should be fine. However note that their are never any guarantees!

The update was just a TU that goes to the cache for playing on live I believe.

Is it a "System" update or a "Game" update. I'm sure it's a game update, if so you will be fine.

My fw is lt2.0 and my dash is 2.0.14719.0 which was a "Game update" from Battleship I have no problems with XGD2 games and truncated XGD3 games except for the newer XGD3 games like Max Payne. I am going to update my fw to Lt 3.0 next week and done lots of searches so ready myself to redo all my XGD3 games.

Game updates are fine, otherwise go back to stock and update.

c4eva says slims are fine to system update if the spi is locked,no need to revert to stock. obviously dash 14719 will need lt3.0 and topology on all xgd3 and a couple of xgd2. also non truncated games will be needed too (iHAS and burn max and verbatims).

why not update with originals then naffin can go wrong.

I always update with the USB update, because I even had an update with an original go wrong on me.
