Ok so I'm trying to understand this right. I will be getting already kamikalized slim drive. Will the drive be locked automatically or does it still unlocked after kamikalized? Also if its locked, when a future update comes out can I just use my probe3 leg to touch the metal inside the hole to unlock it? I heard alcohol does the trick too. But I'm afraid to screw it up with the alcohol. Do you just rub the hole with a q tip?

you lock the drive when you have flashed
i dont reccomend using probe3 to unlock by touching the point inside the hole as you could damage it very easily
use alcohol and qtip and when JF is waiting for the unlock status rub away and it will unlock

I reccomend putting to the hole the 100ohm resistor connected to 3.3v with drop of salt water
