LITEON 9504 Kamikazee green flashing light

So I done the kamikazee mod to my dvd drive (slim 9504) so that I could unlock it and flash latest firmware and every thing went well with the drilling and the flashing and locking back up but....

Now when ever I plug the drive in to my xbox the green power light flashes and the drive keeps ejecting (really fast). So if I close my dvd drive it just ejects straight back out and if I switch it on with the drive close it just spits it back out.

I done lots of reading on varius forums last night but couldn't find the answer or a fix to this problem could you please help me.

Ps I am planning on buying the unlocked pcb if this doesn't fix.

Hi there guys thanks for the reply

I been trying for days and still no luck and have researched heavily on the green flashing light constant eject and it seems that it can be caused by anything from a faulty motherboard of the xbox to a ribbon cable on the drive.

I am fairly sure my slim xbox is still in perfect working order and its nothing to do with that so I think I must have hit another wire somewhere inside that chip I put a whole in.

I am using a ck3 to power the drive and I am on the latest dash.... I have used the cotton bud and unlocked the drive and reflashed it with 2 of the liteon 9504 firmwares in the latest pack (not sure what one to use) and that doesn't seem to make a difference. But every time the flash seems to run perfectly and jungle flasher is showing every thing is good.

I think my only solution is to buy an unlocked pcb when they come available unless someone has a better idea?

I checked all my cables inside and out the drive numerous times and the drive works fine out of the xbox as soon as I hook it up all it will do is eject. The eject button on the xbox still works and will make the drive open or close but it is always ejected straight back out at a really fast speed.

Also just to add it might seem stupid but I didn't liteon erase I just intro the drive then wrote the new firmware could this be the problem.
