Keep getting ligh & dark grey squares!

I purchased a J-tag a week or so ago and it has been fine until the last couple of days,

the screen keeps freezing and light and dark grey squares appear all over it.

It used to do that with my old xbox and when i turned it on again it would get the 3 red lights,

the only difference now is i dont get the 3 red lights,

any ideas what could be wrong?

GPU needs a reflow..

not big for a person with the right tools and the know how.

Depends on the person you got it from if it was a shop bring it back..
