Hi guys, I want to update my kernel version of my RGH2, but the guys at the mod store locked Xell so i cannot load it up by the eject button. I built the nand in Jrunner, but I cannot update without Xell. Can anyone help me?

U can also update over network with jrunner, no need for xell. There's instructions in newest jrunner PDF. Also u can change u'r NAND so xell starts with eject. Not sure why the 'shop' locked it out, goes against the very principle of rgh/jtag in the first place.

Taiji, thanks. They lock it up, so the costumers would bring the console to them to update, and pay to them for it... BTW, were can i get the xenon.elf file?

Read the flash360 release notes, it will say what file names it will recognise. I know xell recognises updflash.bin. Jrunner has the xell files and will compile the NAND for u just select options it's all in the PDF. I strongly recommend using the update over server option. 'Shops' like that annoy me, if u got one if the pros on this site to mod your console, they (most) will provide your CPU key, NAND dump and rgh NAND free on a disc.

Use dashlaunch installer and J-Runner. Download the latest system update (again, using J-Runner).

You'll update your system and avatars in about 30 seconds, automatically.

Make sure you've got a network connection to your console.
Run dashlaunch installer 3.11 - accept any update request and restart when asked.
Go into Dashlaunch again and open configurator. Enable updserv.
Go back to J-Runner and select your chosen dash (16547). on the Update Mode tab, click Update.

It will do it all for you.
