Hi, i have an xbox 360 which has a broken lite on 9 series drive. I didnt originally flash the drive, so i dont have the key/dummy.bin. The drive doesnt show up in jungleflasher, however i can get it into vendor mode via intro/device id. However i cant extract the key when the drive is in vendor mode, but when i press outro/ata reset, the drive is no longer detected. Is there anything i can do (mra hack?) to get the key from the drive, or do i have to wait for the coolrunner to be able to use my xbox? Any help would be great, cheers Curtis

If you can get it into Vendor mode, it means the drive is blank.
This is why it's not working and why it won't appear after you send outro.
There is NO way you can get the key from this drive. You have two options:
1. Send the console to someone offering DVD key recovery (myself and others offer this), using the RGH to get it.
2. Contact the person who originally flashed it and see if they have a copy of your DVD key.

Hi yes see the log below. I do have a probe version 3, and i am using x360usb pro. As you can see below, the drive isnt detected until i put it in vendor mode, but i cant extract the key when it is in vendor mode, as soon as i press outro/ata reset, the drive is no longer detected.
