LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Key spoof Lite-On 0272

Hi... ok so i load JF and put Lit-OFW into it and auto load LT2.0 and then click manual spoof and load the key.bin to which i wish to change. Then i go into MTK flash and click intro to which i succeedbut drive is unlocked already as have the Executor replacement pcb... so then i click "write" and it starts the job and finishes but never puts in the new key??? does this have to be locked again in order for drive to work as would prefer to keep unlocked as its for a RGH Slim. Any help here is appreciated and thanks.

With slim's drives you have to have the dump,you cant recover the dvd key and just inject to a 0272 file its missing the info for your drive.

Only way is to install the coolrunner and get any dvd drive to work in it.

Read the jungleflasher tutorial on flashing.

JF tut is your friend man. Slims need it all not just the key.bin do you have the original pcb?

You can also dump the firmware on the drive and use that to get your key but if you are going to install a Coolrunner and RGH might as well just do that since it's in your plan
