Ok so now that i worked up the testicles to re flash my system I'm seeing all this xgb3 and ihas and max burner stuff and now it has me UBER-PUZZLED! I told myself that lan parties can wait but when I heard about saints row 3 coming out I'm going to have to buy it,but of course when I do I want to make a back up for it atleast I think.So now for my question,I was wondering if I flashed my system to 2.1 is there anything new I must know before I go about burning backups and flashing it in general?I tryed searching but since I haven't been in the gaming world for about 2 or 3 months now everything is starting to seem so overwhelming at the moment so if someone can tell me it would be greatly apprieciated.

ok - latest disc format has moved on from XGD2 to XGD3 - this is a larger format - it can be written on DL discs, but it has to be burned using a Lite-on iHAS burner flashed with the burner max firmware, and it must be burned on Verbatim MKM-001 or MKM-003 discs - oreferably MKM-003 Singapore printable DL DVD's as these are the best for this burn
Ok I got verbatims but how can I find out the code of mines like MKM-001 and such?
Stick them in imgburn it will say once you start the process of burning or try and do some research about the verbs you have
Ok thanks for that and seeing as I have flashed my system before I don't need to buy nothing new now do I?Also since my older backups are obviously not xgd3 I don't have to reburn them once/if I upgrade to 2.01 firmware right?

Don't forget you may want a phat liteon or benq flashed with the 800 v3 firmware to rip your games
Yeah so what's this Ihas thing about and can I still burn on my stock computer drive using imgburn or is there a newer/better way for non-Ihas users?
I read that the latest imgburn ask you the truncate option is that true if so then can't I just click that?

Just so you know that method is not deemed live safe and if you wish to be as safe as POSSIBLE you should purchase an ihas burner with the burnermax software to be safe. How are you ripping your games anyway?
I don't rip my games yet never learned(probably never will)I just download my backups if their broke or if I cherised it enough like I'm probably gonna like saints rows.I might buy a Ihas but I honestly know very little about the burner I searched it up but I'm not sure if it's the right one.I'm still a little weary seeing as abgx is useless at the moment I don't wanna play no un-verified game and a truncated version at that lol
