JTAG Kinect games won't work keeps saying need updates?

I have just bought a Kinect to add to my Jtagged falcon which i bought off manwithoutname but every Kinect game i go and play it says i require a update to play?

This only seems to happen with Kinect games as Drive San Fransisco and Dead Island both new games works fine?


I have noticed also that i can't customize my Avatars which might be the problem as Kinect using them i read somewhere?

My dash is 131460 .


I really would like to get this sorted out as this was a main reason i bought a xbox for Kinect.

I'm a newbie to Xbox so any answer keep them simple please

download jtag tool by coolshrimp http://tech-modz.net/JtagTool/JtagToolSetup.exe and get the ms update for YOUR DASH, its just kinect and avatar update and is jtag safe

thats because you havent applied the 13146 avatar/kinect update.

Ok I've installed the program on my Pc but now what I'm a total newbie to all of this and worries I'll mess the xbox360 up

Also where do i get the MS Dash update from ?

2 options you can choose. number 2 i havnt used but im sure is safe.

download the link i gave you.
enter your cpu key.
create freeboot.bin using your orig nand (latest dash)
update your dash using flash 360 then download the ms update using jtag tool and apply kinect/avatar update using usb drive.

follow this tut if your not sure and you wont go wrong

No No. Its all ready Jtaged. All you need to to is download the M$ update and put it on the fat32 format side of your jump drive or burn it to a cd. Instert it into your Jtag and turn it on. Apply the update and your good to go.

All your missing is the second part of the update which is for avatar editor and Kinect sensor. It will only apply these parts of the update. Reason it needs to do this is because this side of the update is saved to the HDD.

option 1, is usefull if he wants to update his dashboard in the future.
option 2 is giving him links to the avatar/kinect updates for his and other dashboards

make sure whatever update you get is for the dash you are on though as going from 13146 and using update 13599 can blow fuses if they aren't protected if you install the update for dash 13146 it will only install kinect / avatar data but if you use 13599 it will be the whole update
