So has it changed from this then ?For a good XGD3 backup, the PI should
not be any more than 100 and the PIF should not be over 8
Yes, but those aren't rules set in stone. I've been told here by multiple users and mods that if you have 1 spike at 8 or even 9 PIF, it's good. My PIs are always <50. Passes verify in imgburn, kprobe and installs to xbox!So has it changed from this then ?
Max PI should not be higher than 100 and max PIF should not be higher than 4 according to the spec (ECMA-364) - Of course this is a guide and will obviously fluctuate between different types of media
Hope i didnt come across as being funny, that was'nt my intention , so is something with a PI over 100 still good to go though so long as its under 200 ?Yes, but those aren't rules set in stone. yeah i read it here https://viewer.zoho.com/docs/owd8cdSo has it changed from this then ?

Doesn't matter. Check the 2nd image of the burn by ubergeek. You'll see a PIF spike at 9, one at 7 one at 6, and uber still calls that a perfect burn.yeah i read it here https://viewer.zoho.com/docs/owd8cd
That's good. Just right click on the PIF chart and select, auto scale Y value. That way you'll see the actual graph instead of a blank!Date : 23/10/2011 20:07:22

I'm using the same brand (Titan) and my results are turning up much worse than yours. What speed are you burning on?

U do the mathMax PI should not be higher than 100 and max PIF should not be higher than 4 according to the spec (ECMA-364)
This is really shocking to me as that media code is quite cheap and nasty, yet these numbers are really good. I'd like to see the graph image.sorry cant realy see img, so here is a copy of the log

100% verify on imgburn means nothing with these so I wouldn't waste your timeHere are my verbatim results. It doesn't seem quite right from the 50% mark. It does however verify 100% on imgburn.
