Aone DL D01-67 (MCSE) changed to 2.4x write speed still giving out good results

Not had one bad burn so far using this method.

Ok here's my Dark Souls reburn with SmartBurn Off, Hyper Tuning Online and Forced Off, Over Speed Off.

I'm still a little confused as to the general guidelines of the scores for KProbe VS Disc quality score Nero SpeedDisc gives. Nero is VERY strict. Look at my results, they absolutely qualify as a great burn by KProbe standards, yet in Nero the score is 90, which is less than the recommended 93, meaning it's a FAIL???:confused::confused:

Of course the disc verifies, installs and passes all checks.

I think the Nero score needs to be lowered, otherwise MOST people here have utter failures!

All shown are MKM001s burned @ 2.4x OPC off.

You can see the crap quality of the disc because your PI Average is so high. The PI average should be < or = 5.0. Yours is 18+.
I thought the new guidelines only stated it only went off your PI / PIF MAX

So long as they fall within these guidelines and work im more than happy.

Wrong. They go off the averages too.

Three attempts of the same image, all on Verb MKM003 & iHAS324 via Intel SATA.

First attempt:
SB/FHT/OHT/OPC = Enabled @ 4x
Failed verification at 49 percent

Second attempt:
SB/FHT/OHT = Enabled, OPC = Off @ 2.4x
PI above 300 at second layer

Third attempt:
SB/FHT/OHT/OPC = Enabled @ 4x (same as 1st attempt)
Verified 100 percent, KProbe results pictured

Don't be so freaking lazy. Just like everyone else here, you have to read the OPs post and figure it out. It spells it out for you EXPLICITLY which reading ranges are good/bad.

so your saying the averages are crap because of low quality discs what about this then !!!

http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showpost.php?p=457030&postcount=343
Well there you can clearly see how the PI jumps up after the layer break.

The average is obviously even worse then the previous one, here's it's at 22 vs 18.

But like I said, you should not be getting PI avgs > 5. ESPECIALLY if it's Verbatim.

That shows there's a problem with possibly the SATA chip the drive is using. The first thing you should do is switch the port/chip your drive is on.

This is what I did last night, see my earlier burns and the later ones. You'll see a vast differences simply because of the SATA chips used on your mobo or addon cards like the VIA 6421 and setting all options off in EEPROM.
