I got my batman this morning, ripped it then burnt it on my shiny new 624,
burnt on 003's from amazon, at 4x, opc on, all extra settings off, smart burn, hyper tuning etc,
here are my kprobe results,
the first is scanned on my 624,
the second was scanned on my old reliable, lol, sammy writemaster. (notice the error it threw up) I'm thinking maybe it's because it cant read the bigger layer break.

I might try to burn it again with smart burn enabled.

oh yeah chipset is nvidia nForce, amd phenom II processor, on win 7 x64,

I might even try it on my via card and see what results i get from that,

its a lot better than my first results,
I'm going to change the settings in the EEPROM to match the settings in imageburn and see what results that gives me, however I think i'm happy with these results, I'm going to go install it now see how it goes.

All imgburn does is change the eeprom settings. It doesn't matter if you changed them with eeprom first, imgburn changed them when you did that so your eeprom will always match imgburn settings.

The suggested Nero 90 score might need to be revised a bit

Same backup with KProbe

You can't have different options here!
Turning them on in IMGburn does the same thing EEProm utility does. They BOTH change the eeprom settings.
This burn was with whatever settings you set last.

The scan is fine.

Read the first post and you won't have to ask that question.

THE DISC I USE IS A BRAND CALLED OPTIMUM. THEY ARE SOLD AT FRY'S ELECTRONICS FOR A SPINDLE OF 100 FOR ONLY $60. I FEEL LIKE THEY ARE A CLONE OF THE VERBATIM BECAUSE THE DISC INFO IS THE SAME AS THE VERBATIM MKM003. SO FAR IN ALL MY TESTING OPTIMUM IS THE MOST CONSISTENT NON VERBATIM DISC FOR BURNING GAMES. MESSAGE ME IF YOU NEED MORE INFO.
