Not sure if this thread is still going, but I recently used KProbe to check two of my backups. Firstly I found that checking a disc on speed = MAX gave totally different results then speed = 4x, the first disc I checked was way off so I will reburn, but I believe I acheived amazing results with the second one, well the best Ive seen anyway.

It was XGD3 Saints Row the third back up burned with lite-on ihas iextreme burner Max, and the results were :

PI Max : 14
PI Average : 0.87
PI Total : 27257
PIF Max : 4
PIF Average : 0.09
PIF Total : 2672

Are these results actually amazing, or am I missing something?

BTW i dont have the graph to post, but I did review it and no significant spikes at all, maybe a slight increase at layerebreak as expected.

 Why is this site like this? You guys are sooo knowledgeable yet sooo abusive. I've learned so much here but just don't get the treatment that is dished out to your members. Even in the n00b forum. No other site I've ever been on, public or private, operates this way.

Go ahead. Ban me if you like for saying this. I'm old and I've got broad shoulders and am ready to be called a douche bag, lazy and a dumb f*ck, but you guys know that there a lot of kids who come here for help. I would think that the upper echelon would set a better example.

Plus you guys sell your products and always say that this site is to give support for same. No other company I know of provides, allows or would tolerate this kind of customer support. Again, I just don't get it.

Xecuter, is this really how you want your image portrayed? Why do you allow/encourage this?

You must've not read what was posted for you to get all whining, Click the link ↓↓↓

Ever heard of google ??:rolleyes2:
I dunno, I'm a little rusty. Is this how you use it? http://bit.ly/vbdmmr

What's the point of a guide with dead links?

I did click the link and saw what it said. You should be above that and not lower yourself to that level. Ever see an employee from Microsoft or ANY developer respond the way you did, regardless of what was said to them? He asked if someone could re-post a link because of 404's and your response was "Ever heard of Google?" Why not just provide the link without the sarcasm? Or, how about, "Try Googling KP DL". Admonish him, warn him saying that this isn't tolerated here, ban him, but don't respond in kind. You brought that on yourself with your reply.

And no professional organization would reply to constructive criticism by telling their customers that they are whining.

I know you don't get what I'm saying and that's fine.

Hey, you guys are free to operate any way you want. All I'm saying is that there are better ways to handle yourselves. Again, this site is fantastic in a lot of ways. This aspect just really bothers me.

Happy Holidays.

Same disk but in K-probe, I checked the reading speed @ 4x instead of MAX.

Still terrible results. Any tips on what to turn on or off?

I recently removed my Windows drive and installed Parallels on my build. I noticed that kprobe2 no longer works. It will load for a few seconds and stop. Is there anyway to fix that? I've tried using vmware but ran into the same problem.

Hello,

First I burn games with IHAS 124D and get bad results with kprobe. After that I buy IHAS 124B and burn all with perfect results, when I scratch good burned game and again check it - result it stil works and install to hdd, but very high pi and pif.
So I think what kprobe with higer stats isn't bad result.

View attachment 13749Can anybody help on what i may be doing wrong? I use verbatim discs and followed the guide for writing discs with IMG Burn. I will post my Kprobe results for GOW but all it does is load the title screen and then gives me the disc needs to be cleaned error. I have an IHAS 324B with the burnermax firmware running on it.
