FIXED kv edit, patch nand?

Good afternoon all,

Here is my issue. Got a BB Jasper, got the CPU key, DVD key from xell months ago. Wrote original nand to it and updated it to latest dash. Here is where I f'd up. Deleted original nand dump, have no ecc to get a good kv from so that I may use the "create an image without nanddump.bin" option. Tried to patch the nand with the correct KV info with no luck. How can I create a good kv? I have the kv info but no kv.bin. Thanks for any assistance.

all u need to do is read nand off console with jr add the cpu key and it will give u everything else. create img and write to console. dont forget it will be rgh2 now.

If you have the cpu key, and the console has a nand, read the nand, and use it to create a glitch image. As said above, youre going to need to build an rgh 2 image, and wire the coolrunner for rgh2 as well. Wont be a big deal, just wouldve been easier and more reliable in terms of boot times with rgh1.

Thanks for the quick reply playingmax. Can't create image, it's a jasper with cb 6754 now. I have the cpu, dvd keys from the original nanddump but don't have the ecc or nanddump.bin. So i would have to use the advanced tab and choose the "create an image without nanddump.bin" option as per the jrunner tut. Tried that last night and now it won't glitch.

Dump the nand on the console right now.. You can create the image if you have the cpu key, which you do.

Did you select rgh2 as the image type? If need be, send me the nand and the cpu key via pm, and ill build you an image.

I think hes confused as to what the correct proccess is that he needs to follow.. Im trying to tell him make an RGH2 image as he already has the key..

OP: ecc is only needed to grab the key, which you already have, build a glitch image for rgh2.

no need to build a .ecc file. the ecc file is to boot into xell to get key. since u have the key no need to build or write ecc file. just write ur created nand to the console.

Is what happens when you try to create an ECC from a NAND running a dash higher than 14719.

So yes, you did.

OP: the hard part, if you wana call it that, it getting the cpu key, since you have it already, half the work is already done.
