No no and no.

Switch LAN Play project has nothing to do with this update hence you have to set it up yourself.
You have to connect to one of the servers via tunel client and also set up internet connection manually on Switch regardless your original LAN settings.
Your PC or single board computer with the client has to be wired to your router (not wi-fi) then Switch can be connected wireless.

If you wait some more time, Xlink Kai support is on the way - this should be more convenient as it tunnels all traffic via MAC address recognition, not via manual IP settings.

okay sorry i tought the "enable lan play" option in SX menu auto-set the switch's settings, thanks for answer :)

"
o enable
"Internet Local Wireless Play"
simply head into the SX Menu and head over to the "options" page. There's a toggle for enabling and disabling this functionality at will now."

Yea, It'd be nice if the SX option had text entry for those network settings and would just apply them when enabled... since setting those settings breaks the internet for everything else like homebrew app store, etc....

Or switch lan play should be updated to pass thru internet so it can just stay enabled without cons like no internet. just my two cents...
