GENERAL Laptop flashing and compatible chipset

Hey all, kinda stuck on a slightly ambitious and hypothetical thought and was hoping that someone could answer my questions and increase/end my hopes of it working :tongue:

sooooo

1. Is it even possible to flash iXtreme with a laptop? I usually do it on my brothers desktop, and I hate to bother him when I do it. And even then its not in the best of shape
2. If my first question is possible then will my chipset work? it is an Intel HM55. If not then I'll look to get a USB to PCMCIA adapter to fit a VIA card. is this possible also?

I know this sounds possibly stupid, I was just kind of curious and wanted a solution on the matter

For an all-round solution compatible with both desktop and laptop computers, get yourself an X360USB Pro.

USB pro plus a Molex power supply so you can power your drive, that is sufficient so long you have a ck3 pro/lite. As mentioned above USB pro is the real deal and makes it so much easier for all tasks ripping your originals to flashing your cfw..
