Hey guys, nice site.

Im flashing my Samung ms28 next week but I was wondering what firmware to flash it with? I downloaded iXtreme33 after viewing Textbooks video but now I stumbled across "iXtreme_Samsung_v1.2 revC", which one should I use? Is one version significantly better than the other?

Also, which version of Xtreme Boot Maker should I use along with this?

Thanks in advance! :D

dont use xbm you should use iprep.
the ixtreme firmware(will only play stealth patched games) is the kind to use now for what ver. to use. i tried v1.2 revc but did not have good luck with it.some backups would play others would not.so i went back to v1.2 and all is well so far.

K thanks for the reply dude! Downloaded iPrep the rest seems easy enough. Anybody else have problems playing backups with iXtreme1.2RevC?

You will probably need to remake your backups and make sure that they are properly 'stealthed'. There are various programs, such as Xdvdmulleter, which will check for you.

Ive been out of the loop for quite some time, so bear with me if this sounds stupid.....

I have Xtreme_Firmware_v5.3 and it plays all of my games, Including new ones that are iXtreme compatible ( I dont use live). So if I update to iXtreme_Samsung_v1.2_revc my (old) playable (backed up only after v5.3s release) games may not play....? Seriously?

Yes,
Chances are that the majority of them will not play becaise iXtreme 1.2 rev C checks to make sure they are correctly stealthed before loading them.

However, if you've been using XBC and a Kreon drive to create your backups. You should be good to go.
