LED green-green-green, 3boots, flashin eject

I'm a noob, and I purchased a 1.6ce for a v1.0. I have successfully removed all the solder from the motherboard, soldered the pin header (2 pins removed, 14 of 16), plugged in the chip, and soldered the grey/red/blue wires around to the back of the motherboard. And plugged in my switch as shown: http://www.xbox-modchips.com/tutorials/x26-header.htm

Problem:
Boots 3 times, makes a hummm noise, and then:
-LED on chip controller is blue
-3 green lights on each switch are green (on controller)
-Eject button flashes red/green
-If flash protect OFF, same result only 1 red light on flash switch (as expected)
-Boots like normal (without mod) if chip disabled

I tried both banks and still nothing. Re-soldered 3 times. Any suggestions?

for starters you don,t remove pin 14 you remove pin 4 hope you made typeo error
recheck your install recheck soldering on all points and follow the guide here

I have the same problem. My xbox is v1.1 and I used the Xecuter 2.6 CE.(lite)
Pin 4 and 16 are removed, so what todo?

By checking everything again, I noticed some of the pins were soldered bad.

Now everything is working fine..
