The Blue LED on the X3 chip shines on for a second when I turn on the xbox, but then goes out and nothing else happens. Any idea what could be wrong? I'm gonna undo everything and make sure it at least works without the chip installed.

That's exactly what you should do - once it works again, install everything step by step.

Well, I undid everything, and it still wouldn't turn on. Sad :'(
Was a brand new Xbox too. Gonna send it somewhere to see if they can fix it.
