LEDs wont light up on X3 1.6

I Just installed my x3 on my 1.6 (not b) with the lpc rebuild chip and nothing is happening. The gray D0 wire gets soldered to the pad on the board right? ANyways none of the LEDs are lighting up at all. My xbox is booting normal as if the modchip is not even installed. I have checked all solder points and wire. Please help!

I kinda had the same problem when installing my X3. Only one of my led's were lite and my box booted up as normal. The problem was that one of the pin headers was the tinyest bit taller than all the rest so me and a friend reheated the solder to that pin and pushed it down to the same size as all the rest. Just make sure that all your pins are the same length cuz thats probably whats throwing you off.

Have you solder on the Alt 5v wire and removed pin 6

did the alt 5v and removed 6 pin. I realize its got to be a voltage pin issue because the 3.3v led goes in and out. I thought i had it running and 2 minutes later it froze, the X led went out, and that was that. it reboots normal ms xbox now. Ill have to hope that one of these next 10 timesit will work. what a bittch though

i tried to flash it and all of a sudden the chip is no longer glowing again. i have 3.0.0 on my 1.6... do i need 3.0.1? how do i update. is that messing the leds
