I've been tossing some ideas around last night  and need some advise on them from those who are very familiar with the Legal side of modding Xbox’s. I know that i can only sell the box's with the modchip installed with only the cromwell bios on it and only the stock M$ Dash. Now, could i through in a couple of CD's with the needed software so they could complete the box  . Or send a direction manual on how to install the software but let them find the software on their own. I think i would be better off with the instruction manual idea. Let me know what u guys think. THANKS!!! :D

I would stray from the SW CD and the manual. You don't want to get nabbed with any of that stuff as most of it is illegal. What you can do is include a note guiding them to a forum online where they can find all the info they need.

I work in Law Enforcement, your best legal option is to take a post-it note and write down this web site address and xbox-scence.com on it.

LMAO
Now this is priceless! We have the law watching and listening and even participating in our illegal tendancies!

Well it is nice to know that we have people who are willing to help keep us out of trouble. I like the postit note idea, very usable. Thanks again for the advise. If anyone else would like to leave some idease please do so.

Supplying stolen files or a location to stolen files is illegal. The BIOS's are illegal because they are used from stolen source code (same with dashboards and all those fancy programs out there). Games, of course, are illegal because they are copies. Just make sure you aren't doing anything listed above and your fine.
