Let me just see if I've got this right.

I have a Slim that I updated to 14699 soon after that update came out. It has a lite-on drive.

As far as I understand it, these are the tools I need to flash the firmware. If I'm wrong, please correct me. That's what this topic is for.

-X360USB PRO to connect the dvd drive to my pc
-CK3i to power the drive while it's being probed
-Either a CK3 Probe3 addon or a replacement tx pcb, depending on whether I have an MX chip or a Winbond chip
-LT+3.0 firmware
-Jungleflasher, of course

The reason why I'm making this topic is because I've found all this out in different places across the web, and I don't know how much of it is current. Again, if I'm wrong or if I'm missing anything, just let me know. Thanks.

All this is of course pending you having a flash able drive.

You ca check here http://c4evaspeaks.com/ for the list of drives that can be done and the status of the ones that can't (yet) be done. Other then that, you list looks pretty good.

I've looked around and considering when I bought the 360 new, and according to the list at 360drives(dot)com, I probably have a Phillips-LiteOn 16D4S, with a FW of 0225 or 9504. I can probably be more sure after I open up the Xbox, or check the sticker on it's bottom when I get home. But it's looking good for flashability. Thanks for your help.

CK3Probe 3 is for phat liteon. If your chip is MXIC, you may use the sputnik 360 or the MX Probe
