Hey everyone:
I was having problems w/ pins 9 & 3... i couldn't get them to register anything w/ the multimeter. Then I just jumped pin 9 w/ pin 15 as that is how it's done in some tutorials... BUT I'm still having problems w/ the LFRAME (pin 3). It doesn't seeming to be registering anything... I have just about completly removed the pin trying to get it to work properly but still no dice. Anyone have any solutions?

Thanks,
Chad

Holy shiz nit...
Ok well in those install instructions for v1.6 xbox was a little missleading. They didn't state to bridge pins 15& 9 for 3.3v. And this was the BIGGIE that had me messed up

"Now the last bit of soldering - the Alternate 5v Point"

PLEASE rephrase that for people like me. Just call it the "5v point" I trashed one xbox cause I couldn't figure out what the hell was going wrong w/ my solder joints... And it was all cause the "5v point" At first look when reading the instructions one may think that that is alternative point and is not necessary... WRONG. use the "5v point" and that will solve your problems.... at least it did mine.

thank me,
thank you, thank you.

Upgrading LT Question

I took my 360 To somebody to get modded it was an Liteon 7 Series Drive, and it was flashed with iXtreme 1.6

My question is, can i upgrade to LT without needing to pull my key now if the old iXtreme is on there ? I dont have my drives Key number and I dont have a probe.

Re: Upgrading LT Question

You WILL need to pull the key off the drive, but since it's flashed already, you won't need a probe for it. You can just create a dummy file with jungleflasher, and that contains the key. Inject the key into the LT firmware, and flash your drive. Should work wonderfully! Good luck.
