i'm glad , now i'm here thinking , can i use one of the cables that come with the jrunner for the slim to do that, which would be best green, blue or yellow ?

i will do this point as i don't want to scrap if is not a must

thanks for the help

ps. when i pulled the cable the trace lifted but remained soldered to the cable, it didn't burn nor tear up, so no need to do anything to it right ?

lifted trace :

Unfortunately, this is where misunderstanding a repair is what causes problems.

Regardless of what point you want to solder to for STBY_CLK, you MUST repair the damage you've already done or your console won't power on.

If you feel you can't do it, get someone who can. Right now it's an easy fix.

EDIT - you still need to repair the trace. Look at the close up images in the linked post.

if you still have a wire soldered to the trace (which is currently unattached at one side), solder a wire from the resistor next to the solder point you used (the side which should be joined to your trace) and the other end to the B pad on your coolrunner. There's plenty of room on the pad for two wires. If this works, tape down the end of the trace which is currently loose (or hot glue it). You're then done.

Looks a bit messy...if you can try and clean it up to prevent more problems. If you're happy with the tape on it then that's fine.
