Lifted Pad R3B15

So I accidentally lifted the pad on the R3B15. I got something stuck to the wire and pulled it. :(

So the console is no longer booting and from what I hear, this lifted pad is the issue.

I've successfully removed the coolrunner and want to get this booting before installing the coolrunner again.

I've read the various topics and don't really get what they are saying I should do.

I'm taking pics as I type type this and will be posting pictures of the pad. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

That yellow wire.....I read somewhere that is what I should do. If you guys tell me to remove it, I will.

The other side of that wire goes to the back where the alternate point is(FT3N2)

Looks like you should be able to solder a connection from the lifted trace straight to the resistor. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

the yellow wire is in the wrong place anyway...:rolleyes2:

and try not to lift the resistor or damage it,or you will make a miner fix, into a pain in the rear end.:rolleyes2:

This can be repaired but not by a rookie, you need to have a pro repair this before it gets any worse.
I pulled the wire by accident something got hooked on it. I'm not a rookie btw lol, electrical engineering student.

Thanks for the advice though. :)

And after I solder a wire from the resistor to the trace, I can simply solder the coolrunner to the FT3N2 point instead of the R3B15 point right?

Thanks to all for the advice btw

Thanks and can I get a confirmation for the following:
"And after I solder a wire from the resistor to the trace, I can simply solder the coolrunner to the FT3N2 point instead of the R3B15 point right?"

Successfully booting now. At first I was scared because it powered up without video or audio. Then I realized I still had the modified nand flashed so I immediately flashed the original nand with nand-x and booted up without any issues.

Later I will solder the coolrunner back on but this time with the alternate point and will post results for that as well.

Thanks for all the help guys. You can close this topic now.

Will do as soon as I get home. I'll also make a video of it booting up so you can see for yourself. It doesn't take very long at all :)

Here is the pic, making the video, should have it uploaded soon.

You can clearly see the ripped trace and I've soldered to the base of the point where the trace is still connected to the board. And the other end of the blue wire to the resistor. Its a solid connected, I've tested pulling VERY gently. Going to put some tape over it to keep it flat and prevent anything from happening to it. The end that is connected to the resistor is resting on the other side of the blue wire and I've made sure that there are no shorts. Will be putting some tape under there to be 100% safe.

Very clean job.... thanks
I had the same problem but instead i wired the resistor to point ft3n2 and soldered the coolrunner to the wire and it worked.
