Linking ID to Nintendo ID

I'm having an issue playing MK11 & Bloodstained because my Account isn't linked to Nintendo.
Doing a little reading, I found NNID Injector, but I don't want to hassle backing up all my saves, adding a linked account, then restoring them.

Should I backup my EmuNAND, boot to OFW on sysnand, link my account, go back offline, create emunand from scratch (now that sysnand is linked), and do it this way?

Will this second way allow me to easily restore my saves?

Thank you!

It will be the same amount of work to backup and restore your saves unless your saves are in OFW. In which case when you make the new emunand they will also be there. Better to back them up before doing anything anyways if you really need them.

Checkpoint makes it pretty easy to backup and restore your saves. Don't know what NNID is or the process so can't speak on that though.

Thank you for responding.

Sorry my own delayed reply.

My logic is if I use OFW to link, then create EmuNAND again at least i'll have my own NNID account. The otherway involves getting someone else's linked account to work.

NNID is a Profile on the switch linked to your Nintendo Account, I may have spelled it wrong. It is needed for MK11 (v1.03 and above) along with Bloodstained.

Your logic is right.

So I didn't consider one point. In order to link your profile to Nintendo, you have to run the latest OFW. I opted not to. So I ran check point, backed up my games and ran the Account Linker. I had to be online for that as well, so I connected ran the linker then disabled wifi immediately.

I used the provided profile, renamed to my profile. Then restored my saves. At first it didn't work, but once I launched every game to get the "default save", I was able to restore my saves. Just posting in case anyone has this issue. Remember, run check point, run the linker, then rename it to your profile. Run a game, exit and close it, then run checkpoint to restore it.
