linksys router (network issue)

ok I'm have trouble with the way I have my router setup and my dashbroad. Everytime I want to play line I have to trouble shoot the network and change the settings from manual to automatic. What can I do to fix these. Plus I cant connect to my router anymore in IE it doesnt come up with the login box. It happened b4 but i cant remember how to fix it any ideas.

Hmm that's weird. if you have a router you shouldn't have to change ANY settings in ANYTHING. When I bought my router, I unplugged my internet from the computer, put it in the router, then hooked up the computer to the router, and voila, I'm on the net. Try powering off the router, plugging in all the cables, then turning the router on and waiting a minute. Sometimes it needs a reboot. Also, plug in your network cables into the xbox when it's off, then turn it on and see if that helps?

thanks man but i already tried that I think it might be the IP that my evox has so I going to try and change that and see what happens

oops I forgot to set the DNS and I dont know what happened but my router started letting me back in

just enable dhcp and you will automaticlly be asigned a ip address. thats how i got mine setup and i havent had a problem.
