GENERAL lite-on 0401 shown as 0225

This lite-on drive i have just recieved is labeled as 0401 but is being displayed as 0225 in jungle flasher. Will i need to use the 0225u firmware or normal 0225 ?

Edit: flashed drive as a 0225 with right key but just get the play dvd on originals or backups i have searched and come across this info

If it's a downgraded 0401->0225, you could try to transplant 1F000-1FFFF from a 401 and insert into your generated 0225u fw, then put back your serials in place

Does anyone else have an solutions or should i try the above solution any help is much appreciated as i am alien to this thanks

normal 0225u is just used for mislabeled 9504 sounds like the 0401 pcb was unlocked and 0225 frimware was wrote to it. but you never know,are the case has maybe been switched

Or someone unlocked there 0225 fukd up and got a new one and flashed there fw

Yeah i thought it was only for 9504 but thought i would ask first. First miss-labelled drive i have come across lol.

I am sure this is the original board as it hasnt been unlocked (winbond )

the xbox was sent back to microsoft before christmas as it wouldnt turn on and disk was stuck in drive when it came back i opened it and it had the 0401 drive in it,hope this helps i havent touched the drive apart from opening it and seeing if it was winbond or not
