lite-on 1071 updating

i am having trouble extracting the key from my lite-on 1071 drive i have had LT 3.0 on my xbox for awhile now and with xbox live doing the update i was going to revert back to stock before i updated but when trying to extract the key for the drive it keeps failing on me. i click slimkey and then click no then when asked to resend the command i click yes and power off the drive and back on and then it fails to get key it says slimkey fails. any help would be great thinks.

a bit more info would be nice

1. are you using an original or a replacement pcb?
2. what chipset are you using to try to flash the drive?
for example: onboard SATA, via card, x360usb pro?

there is your issue then!

you can't slimkey replacement pcbs

simply intro them, unlock the spi, then read
