Where do i check to see if it had the trace cut?
There are no trace cuts. I forgot to mention the drive has been flashed before but i cant get in contact with the guy that flashed it for me, So he has the keys does that have anything to do with the error?Under the pcb.. remove the 2 small screws. and flip it over.
Have a look at this and you will see what i am talking about..

Well you need the via card or the USBpro,I understand that some onboard chipsets may work at times but give trouble just as your having. Now put the via card back into your pc and uninstall the drivers to the via card and give it another try, more than likely it will work the very first time after you remove the drivers from the via card.dont know if it will help but i had the same issue key not extracting a while ago and i was using via 6421 sata card and xecuter ck3 pro couldnt figure out what was going wrong then eventually realised i didnt have the correct xecuter drivers installed for port io and as soon as i installed these it worked first time sorry if this doesnt help
