ANSWERED LITE ON DG 16D2S pcb in a benq drive?

Hi, just a daft question, I just wondered if anybody had tried to put a liteon board in a benq drive? The reason is I have a good liteon falcon board (with the key) and a couple of good benq drives, and can get liteon boards cheap off ebay. I think the lasers are the same so just wondered if the board was similar too? It doesn't have to fit just be the same electrically?
Just a thought. Trying to save some money.

I am not 100% sure, but I don't think a phat Lite-On PCB fits in a BenQ chassis.

I can confirm this does work but u will need the spindle that goes with the liteon drive as they differ between the benq, one is soldered wire and the other is ribbon cable, other than that the chassis is practically identicle as they are both philips products. Good luck.
