Lite-On DVD Key on Replacement Hitachi GDR-3120L

I need to know that if I extract a dvd key from a lite-on drive that is broken and I have a replacement Hitachi, am I able to flash the drive with the lite-on key?

The real question is can I take a key from one model of drive and use it on another?

you can spoof it as mentioned above but if you tend to play online or run ap2.5/xgd3 games you are going to get yourself a replacement drive because spoofing isn't live safe and hitachi drives have no ap 2.5 support so ms wil see this

If your drive is damaged, get an exact replacement.

Getting replacement is one part but getting your XGD3/ap2.5 games to work on a spoofed drive on the latest dashboard isn't gonna happen so as BL4K3Y said get an EXACT replacement.

But if its a 78 or 79 that does do AP checks then it will work! just keep the lite-on handy to do dash updates!
