Lite on help

Hey, i just had a bad erase on my lite on, i then went on to fulyl erase it, then write the lt3.0 firmware to it, when i go to put it back in the xbox, the drive wont work, its asif its still been erased. its done this 2 times now:/

I dont know what the MRA Hack is, all ive done to this drive, is use a probe to get the key, flashed to 0800, ripped some games, then when trying to erase and go back to lt 3.0, this has happened.

Try the drive in another xbox and see if it works. Since you havent used any TX products and this is a TX product support forum, you probably wont get that much help.

I have multiple, TX products, i didnt go and spend around £60-70 to flash my drive, when i had the tools at home, i just need help... does anyone know whats wrong?

yes but its not recomended to use the xbox as a power source to the dvd-drive while flashing, and this is by many reasons. what kind of DIY solutions did you use and how do we know that your motherboard didnt get damaged?

Would the power cable have anything to do with this, im using the power from the xbox and i think the switch i was using may have been faulty?

XBox works fine, disk drive is recognised in JF, but when i put it in the xbox, it isnt recognised?

Well done - the console won't work with a DVD drive.

You obviously don't have all the tools, otherwise you wouldn't have damaged the console by using it to power the drive.

I don't charge £60-£70 to flash drives. Maybe a better option would have been to get someone to do it for you.

Probably - but requires it to be fixed by someone who knows what they're doing.

Failing that, replace the motherboard.

If its recognised in JF i would say the console is damaged. And yes there probably is but not without spending any money.

Ok, but i couldnt have shorted anything out, i have been unbelievably careful, ive had the drive in its case the whole time, no open wires anywhere.

is there any other problems which could be causing it?

All anyone says here is " you dont use the right tools" fair enough if i was psoting under XUSB360 Pro, but im not, im posting under firmware.
So i couldnt give too f**ks if i dont have TX tools, i have tools suffiecient for the job, as i have flashed this drive atleast 2-3 times doing this. None of you faggots are mods/admins (Except Martin) So stfu, and go kill yourselfs.

Learn to read, this is a FIRMWARE SECTION, TX didnt create all the Firmware for flashing drives! They may have created products for it, but not the FW!
