Hi can anyone shed some light on my confusing situation
i have a lite on drive that i previously flashed a while ago with lt+1.1, i have just run a backup (rugby world cup 2011 which asked for an update which i clicked yes to like i allways do but the update failed and asks me to contact m$ :eek2: . I removed drive to return to stock so i can upgrade firmware when i hooked it up ( ck3 + x360 usb pro ) the key was not verified so i clicked dummy from keydb which verified key but strange thing is that its a benq vad6038 64930 spoofed as [PLDS DG-16D2S 7480] im now very confused as what to do as i dont want to brick it can anyone help:confused:

Your title says 'Lite-on spoofed as benq' but my understanding of the above statement tells me it's a Benq spoofed as a Lite-On....

What does the sticker say on the top of the drive or what does JungleFlasher report as the drive version?

i sorry for the delay i was eatin the sticker says lite-on and in mtk flash 32 vendor PLDS, name DG-16D2S F/w Rev 0271, wen i clicked dummy from key db it asked me to save dummy.bin which i did but would not let me open as source firmware so i opened Benq_cfw.bin in ther same folder it saved dumy.bin which the key matched to.

Rev 0271? Are you sure you don't mean 0251? Just load LTPlus-025v1.91.bin in as the target in JungleFlasher and manually insert your drive key. Click MTKFLASH32, click LiteOn Erase, click Write then Outro/ATA Reset after the write verifies.
