GENERAL Lite-On wont play anygames at all

Ok well i post this allrdy but no one will answer me now.

So i have a lite-on 74580C and it wont play any games at all.

i flashed the drive with a old dummy file after i updated it so i dont have a dummy file from after the dashboard update is there anyway to get the right keys that i need or am i going to have to jtag the system to get it working again.

Please any help would be great i have 3 systems that are having this issue and i need to get them fixed asap.

You don't need a dummy from after the new dash. I still use the same one since I started flashing my liteon. You say you have 3 xboxs with this problem is it possible you mixed the keys up?

if you got your old dummy then just load it into source.click no to auto load lt plus.

then just click open target firmware,and load LTPlus-025-v2.0 ,then click the spoof source target tab,and write to your drive.

no i have save everyone's keys in a folder with there name and i have not edited one sense 6/25/11 but even when i flash this file i still get the play dvd no matter what game i place in the tray

1. Did you remember to spoof the keys over to the new FW?

2. Did you remember to Outro the drive after writing?

if it is coming up with play DVD after you have flashed the drive then it is simple its been flashed with the incorrect drive key

post your jf log.bit more info be good to.

make sure you not flashin the drive for your box with wrong key.

i never use names as folder to save to,i use console id number.saves the mix up.

and yes i remembered to spoof the key and hit outro.

i do this for a living and i really think one of the updates changed some info on the dvd drive. and not the update that changed all lite-on drive to 02510c because it was working after that update it stoped working when i did the last 2 resent updates and then flashed it to LT+2.0

i save it like so. name/drive model/stock or hacked

No dash updates have changed drive keys or anything like that. Unfortunately I don't have a ton of experience but just hoping some of my questions can help chip away for someone more experienced to help.

Also you might consider editing out your drive key just to be safe.

i might be a noob but i know the difference if you killed the laser whilst flashing or you flashed the wrong key..killed laser .. open tray error.. wrong drive key .. play dvd.. OP have you tried any of the other drive keys you got saved ?

dont take things so personally... but in my time messing with my xboxes never has a dead laser ever given off play DVD.. chill fella.. OP try your other drive keys

just speaking from personal experience m8 no offence taken,but i had a liteon b4 that played originals but tried to load a backup and gave numerous errors like i posted, replaced with new laser games booted first time

it dose say remove ribbon for lite on,but it up to you weather you do or not.me i not had a prob.i never have removed it.but my mate has had probs with it left in .so i think it up to you.


i just think if the xbox has had alot of use then the laser becomes weak,heance the probs with it left in,

but thats my view.

i never used to remove then had 2 in quick succession tht would play originals but not backups, but once i changed laser all was good so always remove now to be safe. saying that op not said if he did or didnt could be another problem, i noticed his earlier jf log at first it was 8 series liteon then it jumped to 7 series unless he done one b4 he posted log

Ok sorry i left some info out i have taken this drive and flashed it into another 360 and it worked great

and i would not be asking for help if i did not need it but one guy i kinda rude lol but i do thank everyone for there help and input

as for the guy who quoted my folder i had 2 firmware files in her folder ones 74530C and one 02150C both with the same key so i think i opened the 02150C one first which has been modified lately and i wanted to use the old one from june cause that is her original stock firmware

but please lets not turn this into a who has more knowledge then the other. i know alot of stuff about xbox 360's but there are still people that know stuff i dont and it will allways be like that so lets cut the e balls.

i guess i am going to go threw all my lite-on 74530C keys in the Key DB and hope one works cause that is what we are coming to being the issue.

check out the "writekey" function in JF, it makes testing tons of keys faster! (as it is pretty obvious you have the wrong one)

load up a fw in target, right click the target area, then writekey
