GENERAL Lite-On wont play anygames at all

So i tried the verify key like you said and the key i am using verify's for the drive. so i have the right key.

this is driving me nuts i can't figure out what is going on with this dam drive

im having the same problem with one of my liteon drives. i took it 2 someone who has been doing it longer than me and they said that i need a whole new drive(laser+drive chip board) i just recently ordered 1 and i will try that and tell you if it worked or not

that's not what i said at all

your first post says you flashed the drive
right there, you changed your key
obviously if you try to verify the drive with the dummy.bin you flash it with, it will be the same

i told you how to more quickly flash keys to your drive, so that you can test them with a game in the xbox

you flashed your drive with the wrong key

pull up your database, start testing keys

have fun

i don't understand how the verify key is faster it just tells you if the key matches the drive. but it dose not make it any faster unless i am missing something.

To the other person with this issues, my issue is not a bad drive.

i have put this drive in another xbox and it works great i have also put a different drive in this xbox and it does not work also. i will let you know if i happen to find the right DVD key and get it to work again. but keep me posted on your progress also.

"writekey" and "verify key" aren't the same
you are, indeed, "missing something"

check out the "writekey" function in JF, it makes testing tons of keys faster! (as it is pretty obvious you have the wrong one)

load up a fw in target, right click the target area, then writekey

if you wish to use this feature

1. start "regedit"
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USE\Jungleflasher
3. If there is a "WriteKey" string there, right click it, modify it so its value is 1, instead of 0
4. If there isn't, create a new string value, name it WriteKey and set its value to 1

i found a guide but when trying to writekey it fails at stage 1

NVM i got it to work this time was a small glitch just had to restart JF

well i fixed the problem with my liteon not reading after flashing. remember when i told you i ordered a new drive and would report back when i did and see if it worked? well it did. i put a new drive in and it works perfectly now

i have taken the drive i am having issues with and put it in my personal system and it worked fine so i know the drive is working. i am half way threw my keys with no luck at all so far. everyone keep your fingers crossed lol

Ok guys i finally figured it out and i got 1 of the 3 working it was the key i had to go threw almost 70 keys to find the right one. i thank everyone for there help and to everyone else that is having this issue good luck and just stay working at it and you will get it fixed
