Lite on won't read disk

Hello there. Xgd3 games weren't working AT ALL on this Xbox. I have been having problems for the past 3 weeks with this Xbox and apparently the reason was, there wasn't enough power to the I has from my laptop. So I got suggested to buy a molex.

So I did. Now i burned my dirt showdown great with it! (this didn't work before) and I burned max Payne and as soon as I click play game, it says unrecognised disk.


This was the error I had before. When using kprobe It used to get up to 8% then give me the results.

Now it goes to 100 with the molex. Why isn't this disk working??? It is on kprobe as I type. Will post results!!

what drive has your xbox got and what firmware are you running on your drive also what discs are you using?

Post a screenshot from KProbe please, as well as ABGX output.

Okay this is really weird. I tried Dirt showdown when Xbox was apart, and it worked. Now the xbox is back together i get unrecognized disc. Taken it apart again, and it runs, but says failed to authorise disc. Then it said unable to read disk. I tried max payne again just for kicks, and that works. I AM SO CONFUSED. Before it didnt even bother wanting to load the game!

have you tried to install disc to hdd to see if it installs.

Will try now. Going to post my Max payne Kprobe result anyway...

Not dirt, but i just installed Max payne 3 to the HDD, so <3 <3

which ihas burner are you using because it is not on your kprobe test,you have 14 errors on that kprobe test.

Yes. I stored them in there because they needed re-doing. I store all my back-ups in my D/L folder :S It is the one i use the most.

So are you saying its just dirt showdown that's not working? If so then it's obviously a bad rip, rerip the game and post ur xbc log.

Sorry just read another post you had does dirt showdown work with the case off?

I have re-burned a copy now. It installs to 100%

It somewhat works. Havent tried putting the case back together yet.

Try bending the top half of the drive metal upwards where the tray is, I bought a faulty console last week that wasn't reading disks apparently and when I got it was making a loud noise trying to load disks and fixed it this way
