LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM LiteOn 0225 Slim Drive, Bought 0272 Unlocked Winbond PCB.. Drive not opening !

I extracted the key, I flashed with 0272 firmware (didn't work. didnt pass verification), I used the 0225 Firmware, everything went through fine, switched boards.. but the only issue is that the disk drive wont open.. I've tried to take it out of vendor mode a bunch of times, doesn't work... The eject on the CK3 Pro doesn't open the drive.. What should I do ?

Am I even doing this right ?

Also it said in the tutorial, after done flashing, press the 0x00 to lock the SPi, but it disappears after i flash and its verified...

im using x360usb , all the cables, doing it SLIM.. usking ck3 pro, and thats all... it was weird though, the unlocked pcb was originally 0272...

no i have no idea what that is unfortunately i thought you only did kamikaze hacks with locked pcb boards

You do...but if you bought it unlocked I thought maybe someone had unlocked it for you

Does the drive eject with the controller or no ejects full stop?

Check all ribbon cables are fully connected on PCB
Check wires are soldered in correct places on PCB

Check ribbon cable on faceplate

Edit: Is the drive stuck in vendor mode......re intro the drive

crap i didnt realize i had to sodder the cables in i took out.. I have no idea how to do it.. I guess im kinda screwed for the time being..

post your full jf log.

look at the chip on top of the pcb and see if it's got a little hole in it.

or better still take a good clear pic of you pcb and post that to.

I'll take a picture now, but i have to figure out how i'm going to be able to sodder, i don't own any of that stuff, so I have to find someone to do it for me. My pcb board looks exactly like this... and here is the jf ish

it wont let me, it goes away after i flash...

(i unplugged everything, but i know it goes away after flashed, tried to do it 5 times already)

Is there any suggestions i should do so it doesn't disappear.. could that be the reason why the disc drive isnt opening ?

and if I lock it, how would I be able to reflash after an update happens ?

start jf go the the mtk flash32 tab.

intro the drive.

should go into vendor mode.

then it should show up as 0x00 in the spi status.

click on the spi status tab and it should change to 0x8C.

then click outro.
