I apologize for the post but I spent 20 minutes searching and couldn't find it. One of my phat jasper 360s isn't reading discs, what's the procedure for determining if its the laser or worm motor that's the problem. Thanks in advance.

Can you write more info. What ist it doing ? just spinning ? On the Xbox home do you see the game loaded? It canot read original or backups ?

On startup it makes an ugly noise, almost like its scratching the disc but it doesn't. After a length of time the icon is displayed and when you select play game it says disc unreadable. Does this on both backups and originals.

Whats the type of youtube Drive ? Liteon ? Samsung or ? Seems to be a bad flash if you have flashed it. If not i could be the Laser lens. This happened to me couple of times. It Can be adjusted, there are 2 screws inside the drive behind the lens. They are some tutorials on google u can use.
