If I use a BenQ drive with original stock firmware with this motherboard that came with a Lite-On drive, will it play all games, including ap 2.5 and xgd3 games?


Is their a risk that I can get banned, as it should have a Lite-On drive in the xbox - even though the BenQ has the original/stock firmware?




(I know I can't take Xbox live updates with the BenQ drive and that I will have to use a Lite-On drive/opening tray drive to take any updates)

No, I didn't spoof the BenQ drive (stock FW) as a Lite-On drive, I just used the xbox motherboards' correct key. But I take it that it won't make any difference and that I'm at risk of getting banned- correct?

If I don't mod/flash an Xbox DVD drive and use the original DVD that came with the Xbox 360, then I'm 101% safe, if not 110%...:rolleyes2:
