I semi successfully flashed my liteon drive. Everything looked great and I reinstalled it. I inseted a backup game and it seemed to read it until about 10 seconds later i got a dirty disk error. I checked with other games and I would get the same error. The drive was working great before I flashed it. Is this the same as the open tray error? I think it is different. I had a Benq that did this and I bought a new drive and used that as my first flash. Any hope I can recover this drive? Would adjusting the POT work or is this something I may have done during the flash? I know that I was having trouble at the beginning and reattached the laser ribbon and forgot to disattach it before I erased and flashed. Thanks for any help or information.

Edit: I finally dug out my original games and they all seem to work well. I am guessing that it is my DVD-DL disks that are the cause which would explain why some of these did not work well on my other flashed Xbox360.

flashed my drive with only one issue... no knowing when to turn on and off the power... you do it during the ........ and if it comes back as unknown, just hit the intro button and then do it again.

I have three questions about some steps on this tutorial, I'm using Blaster CK3 to flash my LiteOn 7485c. 1. On that part "5 - Power on the Xbox (Blaster 360) or set the power switch to ON (CK3 Pro / CK3 Lite)", that means power cycle on Blaster 360 switch ON/OFF or actually it's the XBOX 360 console switch itself? 2. What time should I disconnect the CK3 Probe from R707, before or after I save those 6 files? 3. "As soon as you click YES, you will power cycle the drive. That means shut it off for 1 second and turn it back on" on that part I think the first question will answer it. Thanks

1. turn to pc mode, turn mode off, then turn power switch on(ck3 blaster)
1a. power on 360 then hit EJECT with the blaster button.

2. turn off 360 then place tray in service mode then power back on.

3. get JF to recognize the drive and blaster, place probe in correct spot then hit the read button, ONCE YOU HAVE THE KEYS then you dont need the probe anymore!!! be sure to dump several times if have no other drive to spoof.

then hit the erase button it will ask twice then tell you to turn off then on.

hope that helps, G00Gle is AMAZING
(this is a very quick rundown)

I am trying to flash this drive using the ck3 pro plus the probe. I am getting tons of serial data is bad errors when I dump. I am using USB to dump. I have actually gotten 3 1kb files(key.bin, etc., no serial.bin) saved using jungle flasher's newest release, all but serial.bin. I can see the key that is dumped manually in the log file. I often can dump 2 or four keys before it errors out. The furthest I've gotten is 6 keys and 3 bins before it errors out in 6 hours of trying My question is can i manually use these keys to flash my drive with only the three bin files saved and not serial.bin? If so, what do I need to do?

So if youve got your key did it ask you to save your dummy.bin or key.bin, inquiry.bin, identify.bin and serial.bin?
Personally, i just go with the dummy.bin. If you have that your good to go. Just tick the Dummy.bin Only box on the DVD32 Key tab in Jungleflasher. See what you get.
