Why? Everyone else has read the Tutorial and it's perfectly legible and understandable.
Start over and double-check that you've done everything 100% properly since if you have a valid chipset you should have no problems.
Try using another USB port and go through it once more. You should be able to successfully get all of the files needed. If you're not getting the files then you have something wrong.
Snaiper's post wasn't helpful because I have read the tutorial over and over as well as 50 or some posts.
I would like to give a big thanks to barelynotlegal. Before I even posted my question I read a lot of tips and tricks that you gave to others and I tried them all including different ports, SATA cables, and PC molexes. You have been a great help to a lot of people. Also thanks to modmonster and liaringlass for at least replying and trying to help. Jungleflasher would abort early the furthest I got was all files except serial.bin and dummy.bin. What I ended up doing was extracting my key in dos with DOSFlash because somehow the erase went wrong. Even in DOS I got a lot of errors. I was very tempted to resort to soldering a tiny bit of wire into the hole. Finally I did get a couple keys which I compared to a printout of the jungleflasher keys I got and proceeded to erase and write iextreme 1.5.
Then i went back into jungleflasher and I still couldn't get a dummy from iextreme. When I downloaded the latest version of jungleflasher I still had problems but after an hour of reboots and retries and power cycles and bad writes I eventually got iextremeLT in there.
I just wish I had read barelynotlegal's post about the jungleflasher version first! Next time, modmonster, I may go with dummy.bin only. I'm not sure if my key will be backed up that way though.
Anyway...Happy modding!
